Noisy, lively and fun, this big sister to the original restaurant on Grand Avenue is an attractive diner with floor to ceiling windows, lots of seating, a bustling bar and counter service. Corn muffins arrive at your table as soon as you sit down. The wide-ranging menu, with its decidedly southern emphasis, features crab cakes, Hoppin' John, blackened chicken, ham on-the-bone and a number of daily specials. The dessert menu is anchored by Key Lime Pie, reputedly the best in the city. Forego the small wine selection in favor of beer. Breakfast and Sunday brunch are also available.
