Madre's offers Puerto Rican cuisine, in a fantastically fairy-like dining room with flowing fabrics, ornate chairs, crystal chandeliers and, crisp white table linen; all creating a rather fascinating interior. Owned by superstar Jennifer Lopez as homage to her Puerto Rican lineage, the restaurant serves dishes made from recipes handed down by her grandparents. You can dig into specialties, such as Arroz Con Pollo, Chuleta de Cerdo al Ajillo and Jenny from the block's favorite Ropa Vieja. The restaurant is only open to the public for dinner but you can book the dining room for private parties.
