This East Village sushi restaurant and Japanese bar serves up good, cheap food and strong drinks to a crowd of youthful artistic types. The interior is dark and cavernous with hipster artwork adorning the walls and ceiling, and a relatively large smoking section in the bar area. The DJ spins loud music, so be prepared to talk over the din. Fresh, reasonably priced sushi selections abound. If raw fish is not your thing, their tempura, teriyaki and other Japanese favorites are also good.
