A sushi bar provides counter seating for those who want to watch the chefs do their work, transforming fresh seafood and other ingredients into sushi, sashimi, yakitori and kushiyaki. Alongside the bar, there is Western-style table service. But in a separate dining room, you can go completely traditional and sit on tatami mats at low tables. Either way, the food is fresh and authentic. Prices run USD10 to USD15 per dish, less for individual sushi orders. Try the kushiyaki (skewered, charcoal-broiled meat and vegetables) as an accompaniment to your sushi, or get a seafood platter. And do not miss the light, crispy tempura.
