The atmosphere a casual environment with dark wood paneling and hardwood floors; but in good weather, the proprietors open the front walls to provide open-air seating and diners can sip drinks while watching shoppers stroll by. The menu is limited to hearty sandwiches, soups and appetizers, but the beer on tap and in bottles includes some local favorites and some standard ales.
