Wigwam opened to the public in 1929, originally accommodating 24 guests. Today the resort has expanded to offer 331 beautifully appointed casitas in the Southwestern Adobe-style. Long known as a premier golf resort, this facility has earned numerous accolades and awards of distinction. Highlighted are three 18-hole championship golf courses, two swimming pools with water slide, spa service and a full-service beauty salon. Other features include bicycle trails, a health club, nine tennis courts and shuffleboard. Guests play basketball, ping-pong or croquet in addition to sand and water volleyball. Kids enjoy the Camp Pow-Wow.

The resort offers complete production and programming capabilities through the in-house audio/visual department. Six executive boardrooms are available as well as outdoor areas such as the "Sunset Point" for western cookouts.
