The food may be great at this old-style Italian restaurant, but chances are you will never get to find out. Rao's may be the toughest restaurant in New York City to get a table at. Since the word got out about this spot, the few available tables have been permanently reserved for such celebrities as Woody Allen and Billy Crystal. If you do manage to snag a reservation and are not familiar with the East Harlem neighborhood, go ahead and take a cab. The restaurant serves dinner only. Crtedit cards are not accepted.
