Located on the Freedom Trail, the Parker House is the oldest continually operating U.S. hotel. Operating since 1856, the hotel has been in its current building since 1927. During its history, the Parker House has lodged Charles Dickens and John Wilkes Booth (Lincoln's assassin). The current owner, Omni Hotels, has invested $70 million in renovations.
