For a good way to beat the heat and get some exercise at the same time, think ice-skating. For those who aren't accustomed to Florida's heat and humidity, a day at the rink may be just the answer to heat exhaustion. Open skating to music is the usual routine, but instruction is available at "Learn to Skate" classes. General admission is $5, but Friday night, Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday skating costs $5.50 per person. Skate rentals are an additional $2, and there is a snack bar here.
