Maps are available at most token booths, hotels and visitor information centers. The system is incredibly complicated, and even a subway map can be inaccurate due to constant repairs and shutdowns. When in doubt, ask a token booth clerk, another subway employee, or a fellow rider. No matter how many trains you take while in the system, the cost per ride for adults is $2. You can purchase either tokens or passes called Metrocards.
