Part of the Encinitas community since the flower power days of the 1960s and 70s, this restaurant holds a long tradition of a relaxing atmosphere and healthy cuisine. While the retro decor is no longer prominent, the vegetarian menu remains. One tofu platter combines fresh vegetables, tofu and peanuts with a garlic sauce. The Baked Mushroom and Cheese Casserole combines fresh mushrooms and pita bread with mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Top off your visit with one of the famous desserts made without dairy products.
