Completed in 1888, this former home of a Little Rock saloonkeeper was built entirely with materials indigenous to Arkansas. Having previously served as a private residence, the state's first women's university, a nursing home and an apartment building, the mansion was eventually renovated into an elegant bed and breakfast in 1994. Each room is romantically decorated with authentic Victorian furniture, claw-foot tubs and featherbeds. Be sure to explore the secret watchtower in the turret. Tours are available Mon-Thu at 11:30a-3p. The cost is USD5 per person.
