This 1890 carriage house, in the heart of University City, provides the ideal setting for a weekend retreat. Imaginatively converted into a residence in the 1960s, the building retains many of its original features, such as 13-foot-high beamed ceilings on the first floor. The whole cabin was recently redecorated in a "Craftsman Cottage" style, with both antique and modern furnishings. University City offers a diverse selection of dining, entertainment and cultural attractions, and of course Drexel University, University of Pennsylvania and University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
