Just when you peg this place as another esoteric cavern of grunge-rock, Patsy Cline comes on the jukebox and the previously stone-faced regulars crack good-natured smiles. This is the most unassuming of the Lower Haight dives, with lightning fast bartenders and more microbrews than you can lasso with guitar string. The vibe is always good and the company could not be better. Plus, Toronado is probably the most famous beer bar on the planet.
