Named after one of the seminal figures in 20th century African-American history and situated within the African American Culture Center, this theater is the oldest of its kind in Western NY. Seating between 110-123, the theater features African-American performing artists.The theater is also home to a children's workshop for 6-12 year olds and a workshop ensemble for 16 and up. Aspiring performers are taught the basics of theater within the context of the African-American experience.Tickets for performances range from $6-$14.50. Performances take place between Sept-June, 8p Fri-Sat; 6p Sun.
