While this place does offer something beyond a roof and a bed, it definitely ranks among the bottom tier of lodgings on the Peninsula. The property is a few miles outside Monterey and Carmel. Rooms show some wear and tear and guest services are minimal. Amenities include in-room hairdryers and kitchenettes. While AAA didn't give the property a star rating, it includes it in its list of acceptable places to stay.
