The huge metal and glass awning and ivy-covered entranceway may be imposing, but the atmosphere inside this spacious, colorful restaurant is casual and friendly. The kitchen here may not be as creative as others in Baltimore's Little Italy, but the dishes (mostly old favorites like Minestrone, Chicken Parmigiana and Saltimbocca) are well prepared, beautifully presented and moderately priced. And the portions are very generous. The staff is friendly and professional, the wine list is good and the apple-streusel cheesecake is a great way to end any meal.
