This hotel is known far and wide, at least citywide, for its doormen, who sport the traditional costume of British Beefeaters. The lobby of the hotel, like the doormen, is all red and gold splendor. The guest rooms are a bit more understated. but no less elegant. Both Scala's Bistro and Harry Denton's Starlight Room are located on-site, and both establishments draw as many locals as out-of-town visitors.
