This lively hotel and casino complex is the latest construction by the Agua Caliente band of the Cahuilla Indians, the original inhabitants of the Coachella Valley. The waters which fill the mineral baths of the men's and women's spa facilities were first used by the local Indians to treat their own ailments and to simply relax. Modern travelers are doing the same, and when the relaxation becomes too much to handle, there is always the adjacent casino or the Agua Bar & Grill. All 228 rooms were completely remodeled in 2003.
