This little University of Chicago area ranchhouse features old style South Side barbecue. Eating Ribs n' Bibs fare is an experience both sloppy and tasty—the way it should be. Ribs n' Bibs slow smokes its food right in the shop—visitors will notice the piles of freshly cut firewood just inside the door. Recommended menu items include "The Boss," a whole slab of tender hickory smoked ribs topped with barbeque sauce, fries, cole slaw and bread ($12.75) and the "Ranch Owner's Smorgasbord," which consists of three barbeque ribs, two pieces of chicken, "Maverick munchies," three pieces of "gun slinger" sausage, onion rings, french fries, cole slaw and bread for $11.25. Please note that there is no dining room at Ribs n' Bibs. All orders are available for take away and delivery only.
