This is a popular, upscale nightspot where an after-work drink easily extends into a flavorful dinner. The Tuna a la Gene (marinated sushi tuna steak) is recommended. Other specialties include lobster ravioli with seared scallops, chicken, broccoli rabe, beans and more over pasta, and grilled veal tenderloin. There is a full bar and extensive wine list; and in good weather the owners open up a more intimate, fenced-in back area for al fresco dining. While the bar stays open late, the kitchen usually closes by 11pm.
