The Duquesne Club is one of the city's more prominent institutions. A former men's-only club, it is the place where business and civic leaders gather. There are 30 rooms that are available to guests; however, a recommendation is required from one of the club's members. The club was built in 1887 and continues to provide an "Old World" experience. The accommodations are quiet, even though located in the center of downtown.
