This is one of the island's more interesting places, starting with the name. The owner loves ducks, as evidenced by Daffy Duck placemats and a quacking phone. Then there are the rooms, each with its own theme. There is the Santa Fe Room with everything Navajo and The Q Room features kimonos and rice paper lamps. Other rooms are done in Art Deco, country and Cape Cod styles. This is a haven for pet lovers— you can bring yours along—but watch out for the owner's pet, a noisy, pot-bellied pig. One more normal attraction—the sun porch offers a spectacular view of Gay Head Lighthouse and the Gay Head Cliffs.
