The Esquire, located in a residential section of trendy South Capitol Hill, has a long tradition of bringing quality independent American and foreign films to Denver. Constructed in 1928 as the single screen Hiawatha Theater, this art movie house now sports two auditoriums. The main theater features a large screen, capable of 70mm films, and a high quality SDDS Dolby sound system. The upstairs auditorium is an intimate space with a director's screen.
