In warm weather, the outdoor patio at O'Brien's is the best spot on Thames Street to survey the city's nightlife. Outdoor seating at this restaurant is strictly for the dinner crowd, but the bar has ample standing room if you are just there for the drinks. Try a specialty Grasshopper cocktail that tastes more like a frozen dessert than a strong drink. The inside pub, with several pool tables, and dining area tend to get boisterous and the music can get loud. Some weekend evenings there is a USD5 cover in the pub.
