This casual, family-friendly spot is so well-known for its food and hospitality that it has been written up in the Houston (Texas) Chronicle. Steaks and slow-roasted prime rib are served by a friendly staff. Besides offering a good bet for Grade-A beef when you are in town, the menu includes chicken, ribs and seafood. A children's menu is also available. Rod's Special Margarita is the house specialty drink. Most dinner entrees are USD14-24. Domino, the restaurant's bull mascot, is prevalent in the decor here, as are memorabilia and souvenirs from historic Route 66.
