This elegant space serves some of the finest authentic Northern Indian cuisine in the Bay Area. Indian ex-pats and fans of Indian food come here to enjoy rich dishes of curries and tandoori made with chicken, seafood, beef, lamb or vegetables. The selection of traditional Indian breads ranges from simple naan to elaborate turnovers stuffed with ground lamb, raisins, and a superb mix of spices. The service is outstanding from a waitstaff that is personable and quick. The wine list is small, but has some nice California vintages. Indian beer, refreshingly suited to spicy cuisine, is also available.
